We keep standard-size storage tanks in stock throughout the season. However, if you need a storage tank in a custom size, start by gathering the necessary information.

The more precisely the tank’s dimensions, connections, and technical requirements are established at the outset, the more smoothly the order will proceed from the quote to production.

What information is needed for a price quote?

Please send us a sketch, drawing, design, or technical description that includes the following information, if possible:

• required capacity;
• desired external dimensions;
• connection sizes;
• approximate locations of the connections;
• Other requirements relevant to the project.

Based on this information, we will evaluate the solution and prepare a quote.

Once the basic design is finalized, we specify the tank’s dimensions as well as the locations and sizes of the connections. We note these details on the order confirmation sheet. Based on the confirmed data, we prepare the production drawings and send the tank to production.

Check the dimensions and connections together with the installer

If the person ordering the tank and the system installer are different people, it is a good idea to review the final configuration together before production begins.

The installer can confirm that:

• the connections are compatible with the system’s piping;
• the locations of the connections are suitable for installation;
• The tank fits in the utility room;
• there is enough space for connection and maintenance;
• This solution is compatible with the entire heating system.

We manufacture the tank according to the specified dimensions and connections. The designer or installer is most familiar with the actual conditions at the site. Therefore, it is important that the technical details be reviewed before production begins.

It is especially important to pay close attention to this when renovating a property. The height, diameter, or direction of the connection may not be determined until the installer has inspected the existing plumbing on site.

Measure the entire length of the battery pack’s transport route

When it comes to the tank’s external dimensions, it’s not just the technical space that matters, but also the entire route from the unloading site to the installation site.

Measure across:

• exterior and interior doors;
• corridors;
• stairs;
• turning points;
• the doorway to the utility room;
• the space required to install the tank.

In addition to the diameter and height, also consider the position in which the tank will be moved through the building and how much space is available for turning and positioning it.

If any passageway imposes a dimensional restriction, we can take that into account when designing the tank.

Making a tank yourself can be quick, but for a custom-made solution, the technical details must be confirmed and the production drawings prepared before manufacturing begins.
